In our beautiful Trinity mountains keeping your pet clean and hygienic is both a necessity and a difficulty from foxtails to snowballs, we have you covered. Our shop is located in Hayfork and our mobile covers most of trinity county, bringing convenience to a new standard. While I use 'our', I am sole owner and groomer, offering a one-on-one experience to truly get to know your pet, build a lasting relationship and find the best safe, efficient process for your pets needs.
Our shop offers express full grooming and individual services in downtown Hayfork by appointment. Our mobile is fully equipped trailer with all the top of the line equipment of a full salon at your door. It is fully self contained with its own water and power. I only need to be able to park, semi-level, at the street or in your driveway.
Our Story
Mountain Pet Wash began in 2007 by my mother in law, Victoria Howe, with a simple plan of providing a much needed service to Hayfork. She brought experience of local vet tech and associations in the professional dog showing and grooming ring.
I began assisting Viki in 2014 in-between my other jobs. In 2015 I decided to focus on my passions and begin working for myself and officially started my art career while grooming. By 2016 I couldn't see myself not caring and working with so many wonderful animals and officially took over Mountain Pet Wash continuing to focus my passion for creativity in nature and animals. 2020 didn't slow anything down; my daughter was born in March and I got my certificates in Pet Grooming, Pet First Aid and Pet Psychology. In 2021 I decided to expand further to help serve our distant community and officially launched Mountain Pet Wash Mobile the beginning of November.
Meet Me
I'm Angel and I'm the Sole owner and operator of Mountain Pet Wash, Chi Creative Crafts and Star Field Honey. I have great appreciation for the beauty our county and constant inspiration from nature around us. I put 100% into everything I do and constantly expand my artistic horizons. I love combining my passions from pet portraits-> dog leashes-> local beeswax based lickable paw balm.
